China's first SCT quadrivalent s-trimer protein vaccine (quadrivalent COVID-19 vaccine) against Omicron variants arrived in Zhongshan on June 5. The vaccine will be available in East District, South District, Sanxiang Town and Huangpu Town within this week and other towns and districts later. 

The vaccine is China's first multivalent vaccine against four COVID-19 variants: Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omicron-Ba.1.

The vaccine is indicated for people aged 18 years or above. The National Health Commission advised that those who have been vaccinated and never tested positive for COVID-19 and those who have tested positive for COVID-19 without vaccination are to be preferentially subject for the vaccine.
