The Huangpu Sub-office of Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation recently issued a food and drug business license to a MYJ convenience store located on Xinfeng South Road in Huangpu Town.
This is the first food and drug business license for the sale of Class-B OTC (over-the-counter) medicine issued to a chain convenience store in Zhongshan, marking the official implementation of the pilot reform of Class-B OTC medicine.
The reform covering specific enterprises and medication categories allows large chain convenience stores to sell Class-B OTC medicine and satisfies citizens' urgent needs to buy medicine.
The pilot enterprises in Zhongshan include the Vanguard-Teck Soon Hong Pharmacy combination and the MYJ convenience store-Chunyuelin Pharmacy combination.
