Huang Jinzhe was teaching Drunk Dragon Dance to children in Western District Central Primary School on July 18.
The summer training news released by Wetchat public number “Western District on Your Palm” attracted many parents at the beginning of July. Among others, a Drunk Dragon Dance training program was especially attracting. It is a free training program since 2012. In the program Drunk Dragon Dance Master Huang Jinzhe will teach the dance in person in hopes to spread the cultural seed to the younger generation.
In addition to his teaching practice in schools, Huang also recruit some young people of about 20 years as apprentices and teach them the dance for free. “I have about 20 apprentices and they decide to stay in the team for long,” he hoped the folk people could focus on, learn and spread the precious culture of Zhongshan.
