The 1st Zhongshan "Guangdong Housekeeping" Skills Competition opened at Zhongshan Polytechnic School on April 12.

The competition includes 4 events: baby care, housekeeping services, elderly care and medical care. Zhongshan's housekeepers can show off their skills through theoretical examinations and practical competitions.

The preliminary competition will be held through online auditions. The final is planned to be held in late April. The top two winners of each event can participate in the provincial finals.

The Zhongshan Guangdong Housekeeping Training Base was also unveiled at the opening ceremony. Set up inside Zhongshan Polytechnic School, the Base will provide housekeeping management professional training and social services training.
