A fun paper bridge load bearing capacity science and technology competition for youth was held in Torch Development Zone on the morning of December 6. The competition was the first local event of the 2020 Zhongshan Youth Popular Science Week. A total of 58 teams across the city participated in the competition.
That morning, the 2020 Zhongshan Youth Popular Science Education Achievements Exhibition was held simultaneously at Zhongshan Torch Science and Technology School. Events such as interactive games, science experiments, award-winning quiz, 3D printing, UAV displays, youth innovation and invention showcases, robot interations and other activities were held.
With the theme of "Innovation, Experience, Happiness and Growth", the 2020 Zhongshan Youth Popular Science Week will last until December 12. All primary and secondary schools, science education bases, associations, and research societies in Zhongshan will hold more than 40 activities simultaneously at various sub-venues.
