"Me and My Motherland" the 2019 Lingnan Nursery Rhyme Festival Award Presentation Ceremony and Excellent Works Exhibition were organized in Guangzhou on September 28. The performance, in the form of songs and dances, chorus, recitation and opera, displayed the great achievements in the course of 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China in the eyes of children.

Zhongshan selected works reaped a bumper harvest: the nursery rhyme "Twelve Ballads of Flowers" won the Audio and Video Works special prize , "Song of Comity" won the third prize of Audio and Video Works, "I Am a Little White Dove of Fraternity" won the third prize of Text Works, and the Zhongshan Civilization Office won the 2019 Lingnan Nursery Rhyme Festival excellent organization prize .

"Children are the flowers of our motherland. It is only when we pay high attention to children that, we can truly write about their heart, innocence and interest", said Huang Guoying, author of Twelve Ballads of Flowers and Song of Comity.

Lingnan Nursery Rhyme Festival has been organized four times. It is an important platform for children to express their feelings and get the latest news. The Nursery Rhyme Festival this year was organized under the theme "Me and My Motherland".
