Care for the Elderly is one of the top 10 livelihood deeds of Zhongshan in 2016, whose task is to expand the range of daily care services to the household registered people aged over 60 who are disabled or half-disabled from centers seated in towns and districts of Zhongshan. Services cover meal, cleaning, security, entertainment and home visit, etc. Currently, tasks of pilot project are all completed and the services are carried out in 5 townships.
Directed at the key demands of the elderly, service programs are gradually perfected through extending the services of the calling system from emergent rescue, family doctors, to reservation. To build up a convenient and complete caring-service ecosphere needs to positively improve services including reminder of taking medicine, accompanies for health seeking, goods delivery, etc. through informational means and other social resources. So the elderly could enjoy convenient life and entertainment services at home through favorable terminal devices and platforms.
