A press conference was held in Guzhen Town for the Guzhen Half Marathon 2023 on November 3.
The competition is scheduled for December 24, starting at 8:00 on the morning at Guzhen People's Square. It is estimated to attract 5,500 runners from across the country.
Registration for the competition is open from November 3 to 24. There are three events available: Half Marathon (21.0975 km), Healthy Run (10.5 km) and Fun Run (5 km).
The competition route will pass through major roads in Guzhen Town, including Dongxing East Road, Tongxing Road and Zhongxing Avenue. Medical stations, drinking stations, energy stations, mobile toilets as well as AEDs and emergency ambulances will be placed along the route.
A three-day exhibition and trade fair will be held from the night of December 22 to offer a exchange platform for local sports brands and culture-tourism research and study enterprises.
