On July 30, one month after the opening of the ShenZhong Link, the 2024 Zhongshan Global Investment Promotion Conference took place, with the theme "Sharing the New Link and Seizing New Opportunities". The conference was held to showcase Zhongshan's vast development opportunities, favorable business environment and ample industrial space.

The event targets key regions both at home and abroad, including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Projects with a total investment of 300 billion yuan were concluded during the conference, covering such advanced manufacturing industries as high-end equipment manufacturing, next-generation information technology, biomedicine and healthcare, new energy, new materials and low-altitude economy, as well as such modern service industries as culture and tourism, new retail, high-end catering and hotels. The investment sources include the US, Spain and other countries, as well as key regions in China such as Hong Kong, Macao, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and the Yangtze River Delta.

At the event, outstanding enterprises that settle in Zhongshan were awarded, and representatives of outstanding organizations and individuals were presented with certificates for their contribution to Zhongshan's high-quality development.

Representatives of leading enterprises in Zhongshan, regional headquarters of transnational corporations in Guangdong, new quality productive forces enterprises and chain owner enterprises in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region made on-site speeches.
