On July 29, consuls general and consular officers in Guangzhou from 17 countries visited Zhongshan by way of the ShenZhong Link to experience the allure of this world-class project and learn about initiatives and new changes in Zhongshan's investment and business environment in the "grand bridge era".

This is the first consulate delegation from Guangzhou to visit Zhongshan via the Link. While the vehicles were running on the ShenZhong Link, consular officials looked out of the window and took photos from time to time. They were impressed by the magnificence of the project and the convenience of the traffic. At the ShenZhong Link Management Center, consular officials were introduced the situation of the cross-sea link and the world records it set during the construction, and expressed their admiration for China's strength in sci-tech innovation and engineering construction capability.

The consulate delegation also visited Mingyang Smart Energy Group. Consular officials expressed their willingness to play a bridging role to provide support in cooperation between enterprises in their countries and those in Zhongshan's emerging areas such as clean energy, and seek cooperation in more other areas.
