Starting April 29, six general hospitals in Zhongshan, including Zhongshan People's Hospital, Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bo'ai Hospital of Zhongshan, Xiaolan People's Hospital of Zhongshan, Torch Development Zone People's Hospital and Huangpu People's Hospital, provide nighttime outpatient services to the public.
The nighttime outpatient services of such departments as pediatrics, gynaecology and obstetrics, traditional Chinese medicine, ear-nose-throat, ophthalmology, internal medicine, orthopedics, acupuncture and massage, and rehabilitation are available from 18:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday.
Each hospital will offer nighttime outpatient services for two or three departments mentioned above, and they are expected to receive 100 to 300 patients per night.
The charges are the same as those for daytime outpatient services. Residents can make an appointment in advance through the hospitals' official WeChat accounts or applets.
