The major structure of the Xiangshan Station on the Nansha-Zhongshan Intercity Railway had its bottom sealed on January 15.

Xiangshan Station is the ninth station in the Zhongshan section of the intercity railway. It will serve as a transfer station among Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Zhongshan.

The station will operate with two island platforms and four tracks. It has two storeys (partially three), four entrances/exits, three ventilation facilities and three safety exits. It is 1,025.37 meters long and 49.3 meters wide, with a maximum depth of 29.9 meters.
