The Zhongshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau announced the top 10 cultural tourism routes of Zhongshan on December 14. These routes feature local delicacies, characteristic culture and tourism villages, demo rural homestays, leisure tourism blocks, industrial tourism, and other themes.
The top 10 cultural tourism routes include:

- "The Countryside is a museum" rural leisure tour
- "Discovery of the spring charm of the water land" hiking tour along the Xijiang River
- "Learning while traveling" Xiangshan study tour
- "Mysterious Industry" a journey of discovery
- "Tasting Shiqi flavor" Longdu cuisine tour
- "Lingering taste" food journey in Shiqi
- "Ecology in the countryside" science education tour
- "Memory of revolution" red tourism journey
- "Joyful Shiqi" parent-child tour
The "Discovery of the spring charm of the water land" hiking tour along the Xijiang River, for example, features such themes as ecology, recreation and rural delicacies. Tourists can not only experience the cultural charm of the Qi'ao Ancient Road, but also explore the profound history of modern Zhongshan at the former residence of Zheng Guanying, Luosanmei Mountain among other attractions.
"The Countryside is a museum" rural leisure tour will bring tourists to the art base in Shimen Village, Cuiheng Village and Yakou Village to not only learn about the stories of Dr Sun Yat-sen and modern revolutionaries but also enjoy the beautiful rural scenery of Zhongshan.
