Wetlands, mangroves, greenways, lotus ponds, trestle roads and other items were the focus of construction.

According to the construction standards of provincial wetland park, the planned construction area of the Jindouwan Wetland Park was about 2,298.4 mu (about 153.2 hectares), with an estimated investment of over 47.8 million yuan. The park will see its final completion in 2020.
