The Zhongshan frontier station inspected some 660,400 inbound and outbound passengers in 2024, up 1.48% year-on-year, and inspected 8,044 inbound and outbound passenger flights.

These include some 336,100 outbound passengers and 324,300 inbound passengers. There were over 351,400 mainland passengers throughout the year, accounting for 53.2% of the total and up 16.6% from 2023.

The new Zhongshan Passenger Port was put into use on November 28, 2024. Currently, there are 7 inbound and 7 outbound flights daily between Zhongshan and Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal, and 4 inbound and 4 outbound flights between Zhongshan and Hong Kong International Airport.
