The second plant of Musashi Auto Parts (Zhongshan) Co Ltd, located in Torch Development Zone's National Health Technology Park, was completed on March 9. The project is the first "construction land transfer with design" case in Zhongshan, and it took only 448 days from land bid winning to project completion.
Established in TDZ in 2003, Zhongshan Musashi is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese listed company Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co Ltd. As a company engaged in designing and manufacturing key parts for auto transmissions and engines, Musashi distributes products in China and abroad. Its key clients include world-renowned automakers Honda, Toyota, Ford and Nissan.
As a capital increase and production expansion project of Zhongshan Musashi and one of the largest projects of Musashi, the second plant covers a land area of 51,789.2 square meters and a capacity area of 59,831.41 square meters, with a total investment of 900 million yuan. The planned total output value of the first and second plants will reach 2 billion yuan per year at full capacity, and the tax revenues are expected to be 200 million yuan per year.
