The 2023 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2023MIECF) was held in Macao from August 17 to 20.
The Zhongshan Bureau of Ecology and Environment participated in the event together with enterprise representatives of some generic environmental industrial parks in Zhongshan. An exhibition booth was set up to showcase Zhongshan's exploration efforts in low-carbon renovation of industrial parks, measures taken to promote green and high-quality development, and achievements of building generic environmental industrial parks.
At the event, the Zhongshan exhibitor group exchanged views with other exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad.
On August 18, the Zhongshan exhibitor group visited recycling facilities for electronic and electrical equipment and the Cotai ecological protection area to get better understanding of Macao's experience in solid waste treatment.
