Zhongshan Public Transportation Group has introduced 200 more pure electric buses to operate urban and cross-town express lines. These new buses are expected to be put into operation before July 1.
The 200 energy-saving and environment-friendly buses include 150 for the express lines and 50 for other bus lines. They are all equipped with such safety facilities as driver behavior analyzer, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), automatic window breaker, automatic body temperature detector and automatic fire extinguishing system for higher safety performance.
"Zhongshan fully electrified its buses in 2020 and is one of the few cities in Guangdong whose buses are all electric." The spokesman of Zhongshan Public Transportation Group said that the pure electric buses are noiseless and drive smoothly, providing citizens with a safe and comfortable experience.
