The new facilities of Dayan Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant in Huangpu Town were fully completed on January 6.

The new facilities cover an area of 6,027 square meters, mainly including systems for pre-treatment, secondary biochemical treatment and post-treatment of waste water, emergency pools, tail water discharge and sludge treatment systems, auxiliary buildings, power supply and automatic control systems, general layout and other supporting facilities.

With the new facilities, Huangpu Town now can treat 30,000 tons of waste water per day.

A recreational park will be built at the Dayan Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant to provide a leisure place for neighboring residents.
