The 2023 Zhongshan Shaxi T-shirt Festival kicked off on April 18, with the participation of over 200 enterprises.
The 9-day event includes such offline activities as the opening ceremony, a sharing session, a business strategy meeting, the 100-Person Run and the Internet Celebrity Night, as well as online activities such as T-shirt live-streaming sales, a short video competition and etc.
Clothing manufacturing is a brilliant brand of Shaxi Town well known throughout the country. The output value of Shaxi's clothing industry and its upstream and downstream segments is nearly 10 billion yuan. Shaxi produces 330 million pieces of knitwear per year and 90,000 pieces per day, accounting for about 9.3% of Guangdong's total and 1.41% of China's total.
At the opening ceremony, the Shaxi Live-streaming E-Commerce Association signed talent training agreements with Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic and Shaxi Textile and Garment Industry College.
