A few days ago, public opinions began to be solicited on the Interim Measures for Rewarding Talented People from Enterprises in Zhongshan Tsuihang New District (TND) who Make Outstanding Contributions.

The talented people mentioned in the "Measures" refer to core personnel such as business owners, investors, senior management personnel and senior technical personnel who pay taxes according to the law in the start-up area of TND, as well as those who have made outstanding contributions to the development of enterprises and local economy. Such personnel are working in all kinds of independent enterprises that are registered within the boundaries of TND, included in the statistics of TND and whose development plans are coordinated with the district.

Specifically, for enterprises whose output value or operating income saw a yearly growth of at least 10% or 20%, outstanding contributors with taxable income exceeding 300,000 yuan in the start-up area of TND will be rewarded by 10% and 20% of taxable income respectively, with the maximum reward amount per person not exceeding 500,000 yuan.

In addition, for newly registered enterprises within the start-up area and paying taxes according to law, outstanding contributors whose taxable income reached 500,000 yuan (inclusive) to 700,000 yuan in the year will be rewarded at 10% of their taxable income; those whose taxable income reached 700,000 yuan (inclusive) to 1 million yuan, will be rewarded at 15% of their taxable income; and those whose taxable income is over 1 million yuan (inclusive), will be rewarded at 20% of their taxable income. The maximum reward amount per person shall also not exceed 500,000 yuan.

The measures shall be implemented immediately from the date of announcement and shall be valid for one year.
