Starting July 1, enterprises in Zhongshan can receive a subsidy of 500 yuan for each new employee recruited, with a maximum of 200,000 yuan.

Any enterprise above designated size is eligible for the subsidy when it meets the following three requirements:

1. With a return-to-work rate of over 80% by the end of February 2023.

2. Recruiting non-local employees who came to work in Zhongshan for the first time between January 1, 2023 and March 31, 2023.

3. Paying social insurance for new employees for 3 consecutive months or longer (remedial payments excluded).

Enterprises have to confirm their subsidy applications within July. 

Enterprises can confirm the applications online via gdzwfw.gov.cn or the "粵商通" APP. Eligible enterprises will receive text messages or phone calls, or they can log in to gdzwfw.gov.cn for inquiry.
