The "Action Plan on Participating in the Northward Integration Development Campaign for 2022-2024 of Huangpu Town" was issued recently. The Action Plan focuses on the implementation of "Ten Major Promotion Actions" through 20 specific measures, aiming at building a trillion-yuan-level smart home appliance industrial cluster.
The "Ten Major Promotion Actions" will be carried to improve quality of industries, traffic construction, industrial space, investment attraction, business environment, eco-friendly development, urban and rural quality, culture strength, people's livelihood security, and Party development.
To improve quality of industries, Huangpu will accelerate to integrate into the trillion-yuan-level smart home appliance industrial cluster, focusing on such industries as smart home appliance manufacturing, next-gen information technology and advanced equipment manufacturing. Efforts will also be put in the construction of the Foshan-Zhongshan Integrative Development Industrial Park and the construction of a smart home appliance industrial cluster. Huangpu will strive to cultivate more than two enterprises worth over 3 billion yuan each, more than three enterprises worth over 1 billion yuan each, and more than six enterprises worth over 500 million yuan each in the next three years, as well as to get into the first tier team of the manufacturing industry in Zhongshan within five years.
In addition, Huangpu will accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry as well as the construction of such key industrial projects as the Galanz Intelligent Factory; strengthen industry-university-research development, speed up the construction of the Huangpu Science and Technology Innovation Center for Home Appliances, and cultivate over 60 high-tech enterprises within three years; accelerate the development of the modern service industry as well as the construction and operation the JD of Vailog logistics parks, and build a modern integrated logistics center that connects China-Europe freight trains as well as an important land transportation hub for the Belt and Road in cooperation with Guangzhou's Nansha District.
