The 2021 Zhongshan Leading Special Manufacturing Enterprise Project Incentive Plan was recently issued, and 7 enterprises, including Mingyang Smart Energy Group, with a total of 14 projects, will be given 66.891143 million yuan as rewards. Five of these enterprises will be awarded specially for making breakthroughs in annual income.
According to the guidelines on accelerating the development of key industries in Zhongshan issued last year, leading key enterprises whose annual income fell between 3 billion and 50 billion yuan for the first time will receive a proportional reward of 3 million to 50 million yuan.
Mingyang Smart Energy Group's business revenue (including its subsidiaries') in 2020 was 22.457 billion yuan, exceeding 20 billion yuan for the first time. Consequentially a reward of 20 million yuan will be given to the enterprise. In addition, 36 Minyang employees will receive incentives totaling 3.8 million yuan.
In 2020, TCL Air-Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co Ltd (including its subsidiaries) generated a business income of 11.94 billion yuan, exceeding 10 billion yuan, correlating to a reward of 10 million yuan. A total of 33 employees of the enterprise will receive incentives totaling over 3.55 million yuan.
