The "2020 Guangdong Province Guidelines to Thoroughly Implement Relevant Policies and Measures to Benefit Taiwan" was officially released on July 17 at the 4th Zhongshan Forum for Cross Straights.
With a total of 27 articles, the Guidelines consist of two parts: Providing equal treatment for Taiwan-funded enterprises, and for Taiwan compatriots. It involves Taiwan-funded enterprises' scientific and technological research and development, industry access, cultural creativity, financing, and fiscal and tax support, as well as Taiwan compatriots' guidelines for applying for relevant funds, honorary awards, qualification examinations, etc.
The Guidelines include information about the responsible departments, policy statements, application conditions, application materials, handling procedures, handling windows and contacts of relevant policies and measures.
