The news conference on the 2015 Zhongshan Investment Fair and the 2nd Talent Fair was held yesterday. Deputy Major Yang Wenlong introduced the highlights of the investment fair to over 20 media organizations including Xinhua News Agency and China News Service. It is reported that by Mar. 24, there are 174 overseas and domestic available-to-promise projects with a total investment of US $5.073 billion. Compared with the goal of US $3.45 billion, the investment attraction task has been overfulfilled by 47%.
It is introduced that this year’s “3·28” investment fair attended by town-level governments, municipal government departments, business chambers, and enterprises is the largest of its kind. As an important part of the “3·28” fair, the 21 branch activities fully display Zhongshan’s business advantages, industrial orientation, development idea, and culture connotation.
