Zhongshan Trade and Investment Fair 2009 and Sweden-Zhongshan Business Seminar grandly opened yesterday. Vice Governor Wan Qingliang, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial CPPCC Tang Bingquan attended the opening ceremony.
The investment attracting of the fair upsurge under the flagging international economic conditions. The contracted projects home and abroad reached 231 with a total investment of 2.67 billion dollars. The positive attitude of investment, the effective marketing of modern service industry, and big projects highlights the fair this year.
On the fair, Zhongshan Municipal Government signed a 20-billion-yuan contract with CNOOC Gas & Power Group, and a 30-billion-credit strategic cooperative frame agreement respectively with China Construction Bank Guangdong Branch and Communication Bank of China Guangdong Branch. Zhongshan Municipal Government also signed official cooperation agreement with three cities of SouthDalarnas of Sweden, and letter of intent with Vasternorrland Provincial Government of Sweden at the key projects signing ceremony.
