The list of Hurun China 500 Most Valuable Private Companies 2024 was released by the Hurun Research Institute on February 25.
The total value of the companies listed this time reached 56 trillion yuan, marking a 13% increase from a year earlier.
Guangdong has 81 companies on the list, including 3 based in Zhongshan, namely Huali Industrial Group, Akeso Inc and Mingyang Smart Energy Group.
Huali Industrial Group (ranked 137th) is a world-leading professional manufacturer engaged in the development, design, production and sales of sports shoes. With its management headquarters and R&D and design center Guangdong's Zhongshan and manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Dominican Republic and Myanmar, Huali Industrial Group serves as a major manufacturer and strategic partner for multiple renowned sports shoe brands in the world.
Akeso Inc (ranked 203rd), founded in 2012, is a biopharmaceutical company specialized in the research, development, production and commercialization of innovative antibody drugs affordable for patients worldwide. The company was listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in April 2020.
Headquartered in Zhongshan, Mingyang Smart Energy Group (ranked 458th) was founded in 2006. Its business covers the development and operation of clean energy, the research, development and manufacturing of high-end new energy equipment, and engineering technical services.
