The groundbreaking ceremony for the Research and Production Headquarters Base for Special High-performance TPU (thermoplastic polyurethanes) project was held in Minzhong District in Torch Development Zone on the morning of September 3.
Invested 600 million yuan by Zhongshan ENG Polymer Materials Co, the project will include 18 production lines and be able to produce 20,000 tons of special high-performance TPU per year. When it reaches full capacity, the base can generate an annual output value of 600 million yuan and an annual tax revenue of 33 million yuan.
Zhongshan ENG Polymer Materials Co was established in Torch Development Zone in May this year by Dongguan ENG Plastics Co. The latter is supplier of core material products for enterprises in Torch Development Zone.
