The one-month Zhongshan Dachong Rosewood Furniture Direct Sales Festival 2022 and Rosewood Furniture Promotion Month began on September 19. This is the third consecutive year that Dachong Town has held the festival during the peak furniture sales season in September and October.

The event will include both online and offline activities for the first time in the cooperation with such well-known sales platforms as JD Furniture. More than 800 rosewood furniture enterprises in Dachong have set up special sales areas and launched various promotion activities, selling products to customers at favorable prices. Online platforms including JD Furniture will launch a "Rosewood Furniture Promotion Month" campaign during the festival to market Dachong-made rosewood furniture to the whole country.

To promote the rosewood culture, a variety of activities will be held during the festival, including the Rosewood Furniture Exhibition, Chinese Lifestyle Exhibition, guided tours at furniture production bases, traditional carving skills and ICH program experience sessions, Rosewood Lab Open Day, guided tours at the rosewood furniture museum, and etc.

The initial planning of the Dachong Rosewood Furniture Business District was released by Dachong Town at the opening ceremony. The Dachong Rosewood Furniture Business District that covers a total area of about 83.28 hectares will be built into a comprehensive commercial area integrating shopping, catering, leisure and entertainment and commercial and consumer activities as well as boosting brand economy, creative economy, nighttime economy and holiday economy.
