Wuigui Mountain was awarded the title “China’s Top 10 Eco-civilized Tourist Attractions” on the morning of Jul. 18 at The First National Eco-civilization Construction Summit and News Conference on City and Tourist Attractions held in Beijing.
The activity was co-sponsored by China Comment Magazine, the Evaluation Office for National Eco-civilized Cities and Tourist Attractions, and China Social Survey and Research Center. A group of eco-civilized cities are expected to be recommended to the society to promote the idea of green, recyclable, and low-carbon development.
Wuguishan ecological area is located in Wuguishang Mountains in Zhongshan, covering an area of 113 square kilometers. Wuguishan Mountains is Zhongshan’s only ecological protection zone and has good names such as “Green Treasure Land”, “Green Lung of Zhongshan”, “Natural Oxygen Bar”, and so on.
