Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng meets the general manager Wu Qingyu and his team from MCC Overseas Ltd. yesterday afternoon. The two parties hold a discussion over joint construction of the provincial and municipal key program “Zhongshan Shenzhou Space City”.
The MCC Overseas Ltd. has showed their intention of investment in the construction of the space city. The provincial and municipal key program is located in Shenwan Town, and the purpose of which is to build up a 5A national educational and scientific eco-tourism scenic spot with the national aerospace theme. Xue appreciates MCC for their care about the program. He also says that Zhongshan warmly welcomes competent enterprises to start industrial cooperation and he wishes to gradually improve the project level and make Shenzhou Space City a boutique of educational and scientific eco-tourism across Guangdong province or even the whole country under the help of MCC Overseas Ltd. with high-level planning and constructing skills.
Wu Qingyu expresses that today’s Zhongshan, as a regional transportation hub, increasingly shows advantages while Shenwan Town enjoys a superior location and “aerospace” is a unique theme in China, all of which would be likely to result in a “mega tourism” pattern as great interaction between Shenwan and its neighbor cities is promising. MCC is optimistic about the program and looks forward to extensively participating in the construction and to supporting the development of tourism industry in Zhongshan.
