This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the international friendship city relationship between Zhongshan and Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. On the morning of September 30, Zhongshan mayor Xiao Zhanxin held a video conference with Burnaby mayor Mike Hurley. Both sides together watched a video highlighting the friendly partnership between the two cities in the past decade, and exchanged insights on further deepening cooperation and enhancing friendship.

Xiao Zhanxin noted the healthy economic development of Zhongshan, with investment from over 50 countries and regions and nearly 4,000 foreign-funded enterprises.
