Shiqi District held a dragon boat race in the Qijiang River water area between Qijiang Bridge and Yuanfeng Bridge on May 18.
It was a parallel activity of the 2024 Guangdong Dragon Boat Season in Zhongshan and one of the activities of the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Dragon Boat Invitational & Zhongshan Dragon Boat Culture Month.
Six dragon boat associations, including Zhangxi Dragon and Lion Dance Martial Art Association and Yuanfeng Shunxing Dragon Boat Association, and the Shiqi Health Bureau dragon boat team participated in the race, which attracted many spectators.
It is reported that 60 dragon boat teams from 11 Greater Bay Area cities, including 30 from Zhongshan, will compete for the title of the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Dragon Boat Invitational.
