The 2022 (Year of the Tiger) Spring Festival is approaching. Preparations for the Chinese New Year are in progress in Sun Wen Memorial Park these days.
The Zhongshan Municipal Urban Management and Law Enforcement Bureau plans to decorate for the Spring Festival in major areas, such as the lawn in front of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress building, the Zhongshan People's Government entrance, Sun Wen Memorial Park, the south gate of Zimaling Park, Xingzhong Avenue and Bo'ai Road.
"With the theme of 'Good Fortune in Zhongshan', the lighting set to be placed on the lawn in front of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress building will show the Chinese character '春' (means spring) with red patterns, peony flowers, lanterns and Chinese knots," said an employee of the Zhongshan Urban Landscape Management Center.
Sun Wen Memorial Park will be decorated around the theme of tiger and incorporates Zhongshan's unique chrysanthemum sculpture art. It also includes a large lighting set 15 meters tall and 25 meters wide.
Chinese knots, lanterns, star-shaped lights, firework-shaped lights and other dazzling decorations will also be used to embellish main roads and major sites in Zhongshan.
