The Former Residence of Yang Yin as was unveiled as a "National Security Education Base in Guangdong" recently just before the 7th National Security Education Day.
Yang Yin was a prominent early leader of the CPC and is recognized as one of the "Top 100 Heroic and Exemplary Characters Making Prominent Contributions to the Founding of the People's Republic of China". The Former Residence of Yang Yin was an important place for the revolutionary movements of Yang Yin as well as the site of his birth and early years. It is also the only preserved historical site in his memory in China.
After the unveiling ceremony, the leaders and guests visited the education base and an exhibition with the theme of "Following National Security Plans, Rejuvenating the Nation".
