Recently, the Zhongshan Historical Association of Overseas Chinese planned a photo exhibition, Entrepreneurship and Love for the Family and the Country - the Century-long History of Zhongshan Chinese Businessmen in Australia.
The exhibition consists of three parts: "Entrepreneurship", "Love for the Family and the Country" and "Soul of Chinese Businessmen", outlining carefully the history of entrepreneurship of Zhongshan Chinese Businessmen in Australia, highlighting their deeds of participating in the investment and development of the motherland and their hometown in different historical periods, as well as public welfare and charity.
The exhibition, strongly supported by Zhongshan Museum and Australian overseas Chinese research scholar Dr Christopher Cheng and others, shows a large collection of precious pictures and historical materials. Additionally, a fellow villager, now Hong Kong-based Ms. Ruan Yuzhen from the Zhongshan Federation of Social Science also provided grants to the exhibition.
